Visa opens exclusive cardholder ticket presale for FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™

Visa cardholders gain first access to tickets for FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ tournament in Australia and New Zealand
Visa is today launching its presale ticket packages, releasing the first tickets for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ for fans. Exclusively available to Visa cardholders, phase 1 packages are available from today to 12 October with phase 2 presale tickets being released from 25 October to 31 October 2022.
“Considering the explosive growth of women’s football and the expansion of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™, this is an opportunity for our cardholders to secure their place in sporting history,” said Natalie Lockwood, Visa’s Head of Marketing for Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific.
“Visa is proud to be one of the most active sponsors of women’s football, and we are thrilled to give Visa cardholders priority access to one of the world’s most exciting sporting events before they go on sale to the general public.”
A recent survey of 1,000 New Zealanders conducted online in September 2022 highlights the growing excitement for the tournament on home soil and passion of local fans. The survey revealed New Zealand adults are optimistic about the chances of their national team, with more than half (58%) of respondents feeling confident the Ferns will win the tournament. Women were the most optimistic at 66%, while 34% of men were confident.1
Visa cardholders gain access to two phases of ticket releases in the presale event in October:
Phase 1: 06 October (on-sale at 12:00pm AEDT) - 12 October 2022 (end-sale 11:59pm AEDT)
- One Stadium Super Pass: a ticket pack that allows fans to attend all matches played in a specific venue
- One Stadium Flexi Pass: a ticket pack that allows fans to attend a predetermined number of matches (2 or 3) at a specific venue
- Home Team Pass: a ticket pack that allows fans to attend matches that are specific to NZ and AUS in the group stage of FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™
Phase 2: 25 October (on-sale at 12:00pm AEDT) - 31 October 2022 (end-sale 11:59 AEDT)
- Single Match Passes will be available for sale
